Local vandalism incidents are under investigation

Law enforcement officials are investigating a number of recent vandalism incidents.

One such incident was reported on Fall River Road where the resident told Lawrenceburg Police officers that someone had damaged his window air conditioner unit. He estimated damages to be around $100.

Officers also responded to a home on Liberty Avenue. There, a resident reported that someone had busted her mailbox, then cut one tire on each of her two vehicles. The victim said loss totaled approximately $125.

A resident of Randall Street filed a complaint with police officers, saying that her car had been vandalized. Sugar had been poured into the gas tank. Also, the front license plate, rearview mirror, and an inside door handle had been ripped off and stolen. She estimated the car had sustained $1,170 worth of damage.
