Woman Jailed After Biting Boyfriend
Lawrenceburg Now
A local woman was incarcerated early Tuesday morning after she allegedly bit her boyfriend during a domestic assault.
Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department were dispatched to intervene in the matter shortly before 5:00 a.m. The thirty-three year old victim reported that he had been awakened by thirty-nine year old resident Kimberly Diane Keener shortly before their arrival.
Officers noted that the victim had sustained a bite wound to the left side of his back. The bite had left a mark and produced a large bruise.
Officers reported that Keener appeared to be under the influence of some sort of intoxicant and was unable to describe what had taken place. They said that she had no visual marks to suggest that she had been assaulted. She was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center where she was booked under a charge of domestic assault.
Keener is slated for an initial appearance in General Sessions Court on April 11, 2016. She was incarcerated under a $1,000 bond.
