Tuesday Crime Report
Lawrenceburg Now
Vandalism
On Sunday, police officers spoke with a Fourth Street resident who reported that she and her boyfriend had been engaged in an argument just before 4:00 a.m. She said that during the argument he struck the top of the passenger side mirror on her 2016 Chevrolet Cruze, causing around $200 worth of damage.
Vandalism
Officers responded to Avalon Hospice on North Locust Avenue on Friday. The office manager reported that she had arrived that morning to find egg on the windows. She said she cleaned the windows, but before she locked the door that afternoon she noticed damage to the door jamb. Damages were estimated at $20.50.
Theft
A Goodsprings resident filed a complaint with police officers Thursday, indicating that her ex-boyfriend had the key to her 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt, and refused to return them. She said that he had taken her Smith & Wesson semi-automatic 9mm handgun, but denied having done so. She said it would cost $250 to replace her key. She was forced to have her car towed. Loss totaled $750.
