Theft
Police officers responded to a Jackson Street home where the resident reported someone had accessed his lock box inside of his home overnight and took some of his medications. Loss was said to be $90.
Aggravated burglary
A resident of Oak Street reported to police officers that her apartment had been burglarized. She reported that a key to her apartment had gone missing a couple of days prior. She said she had requested that the locks be changed, but that they had not yet gotten around to it. she said she returned to her apartment Wednesday to find that someone had stolen her 60” Magnavox television. Loss was reported as $927.38.
Theft
Officers were dispatched to a Columbia Avenue home on Tuesday where the resident reported that random items had gone missing from her home. She said that a set of keys, three sterling silver rings, a coloring book and a small bottle of moonshine were missing, with a combined value of $51. Officers found no sign of forced entry.
Theft
On Tuesday, officers responded to a Howard Street address regarding the theft of two motorcycles. The owner said that a 1985 Honda Rebel and a 1979 Honda XL motorcycle had been taken from his back yard. He estimated loss to total $3,800.
Burglary
An Oak Street resident reported last week that someone had stolen some W-2 tax forms and a letter were stolen out of her 2010 Honda Civic while it was parked either at her home or outside of the local library.
Hit and run
Owners of Game Knight, 315 Robbins Street in Lawrenceburg, reported to police officers that a customer in the parking lot ran into the side of the metal building, then left, resulting in damages to the building. They said that it did not appear to have been a deliberate act.
Vandalism
The police department is investigating the vandalism of two storage units at Indoor Mini Storage last week. Doors on the units were busted by two white males in a white mini-van. Damages were said to total $1,200.
Aggravated burglary
A resident of Robbins Street, in the process of moving, filed a complaint with officers last week regarding the theft of several items. Missing were gun safes, guns, computers, watches, tools, a woodcraft chisel set, television, Apple wifi, a blue ray player, passports, and naturalization papers. Altogether, the victim estimated his loss to be $22,552.
