Drugs Found Inside Passenger’s Shoe During Traffic Stop

An arrest resulted from a traffic stop during the weekend when a deputy discovered that the passenger was concealing narcotics inside his shoe.

Reports filed through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department show that the traffic stop was initiated at around 2:45 a.m. at the Old Florence Road/Spout Springs Road intersection.

During the stop, deputies report finding that the passenger, twenty-year-old Jordan Michael White of 407 Third Street, Lawrenceburg was concealing a scale, routinely used to weigh marijuana, in his pocket.

Deputies report finding a plastic wrapper inside White’s show that contained a broken orange pill believed to be Suboxone. A second wrapper contained a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.

White was placed under arrest on charges of simple possession of a Schedule III narcotic (Suboxone), possession of a Schedule VI narcotic (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center without incident.
