Lawrenceburg Now
Burglary
Officers responded to a Second Street, Lawrenceburg home on Sunday where the resident reported that someone had burglarized his truck overnight. Missing was a Ruger LCP 380 handgun valued at some $400. There were no visible signs of forced entry. The owner said that the truck might have been left unlocked.
Burglary
On Sunday police officers made their way to Walmart to speak with the victim of a vehicle burglary. She reported that she had returned to her 2006 Saturn Ion to find a softball-sized hole in her bumper, underneath the taillight. She said that her Apple iPhone 5S had been stolen from inside of the car. Loss was estimated at $175.
Vandalism
A Thomas Street resident reported to police officers Friday that someone had hit and damaged her mailbox the previous night. She estimated damages at $40.
Theft
Police officers were asked to investigate a theft from a vehicle parked outside of a Mahr Avenue home last week. The owner, 52, reported that the jack had been stolen from the bed of the truck resulting in an approximate $100 loss.
