Thief snatches items in front of business

Lawrenceburg Now

Employees of a Lawrenceburg business filed a complaint with Lawrenceburg Police officers Sunday, reporting a theft from the front of the store building.

According to department reports, employees of the Dollar General Store located at 2010 North Locust Avenue reported the matter at around 7:40 p.m.

The employees reported that a white male subject had “jumped out of a silver SUV” and snatched a storage tote filled with various merchandise. He quickly got back into the vehicle and fled.

Employees were able to provide officers with a description along with a license plate number. The case currently remains under investigation.
