Seven Loretto Band Students Attend 52nd Annual Festival Of Winds
Congratulations to Hannah Graves, Peyton Hunt, Micah Bedingfield , Ethan Purser, Sierra Sherwood, Brandi Hale and Ricky Stephens, seven members of the Loretto High School Band on being selected to the 52nd Annual Tennessee Tech University Festival of Winds and Percussion.
The festival was held on the campus of Tennessee Tech February 12 – 14. It was a wonderful weekend with many rehearsals concluding with amazing concerts.
The band members worked with guest conductors Colonel John R. Bourgeois – retired director of “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, Philip Sparke – composer from London, England, Dr. Rod Chesnutt – head of instrumental studies at Florida Gulf Coast University, Katheryn Fenske – from Barat Academy in Chesterfield, Missouri and Director of Bands at Tennessee Tech University Joseph W. Hermann.
