Arrestee Found Hiding In Closet

   Law enforcement officers attempting to serve a warrant at an Old Florence Pulaski Road residence Tuesday, report that they found the subject hiding inside a bedroom closet.

   Deputies went to the home at around 7:30 a.m. to serve a warrant to Bruce Shawn Baker, age 32. They made contact with a woman who claimed Baker was not at home. Deputies explained that they would need to look around to confirm that he was not there and she allowed them to do so.

   Deputies report that while checking the home they located Baker hiding inside a bedroom closet. He had concealed himself beneath a blanket on the floor. He was transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center where he was booked on the original charge along with one count of evading arrest.

   The woman, identified as Crystal Dyer, was issued a citation charging her with obstruction of justice.
