Vandalism/theft
Owners of a car wash located at 121 Military Street in Loretto reported a $65 loss to deputies Saturday after finding that someone had broken into one of the vacuum pumps and stolen the vacuum basket.
Theft
A resident of Sanders Lane in Leoma reported to deputies Friday that a women had left his home, taking his wallet with her. He said he was eventually able to make contact with her via cell phone and she told him a location where he could retrieve his wallet from a mailbox. He told deputies that the only thing missing from his wallet was $300 in cash.
Theft
Deputies were asked to investigate Saturday when residents of Evans Drive in Five Points discovered that their mailbox had been stolen. They reported that the mailbox and pole were both missing. They estimated loss to be $30.
Theft
Two residents of Rabbit Trail Road, Leoma filed a complaint with deputies last week, indicating that their prescription medications had gone missing along with $3,000 worth of stock certificates after a relative stayed with them for a couple of days.
Vandalism
An eighteen year old resident of Douglas Drive in Lawrenceburg reported that some $150 worth of damage had been done to the hood of his vehicle after leaving a party early Saturday morning. He said he had gotten inside his vehicle to avoid an altercation with three males, and that they had thrown a beer can, causing damage to the paint.
Theft
A Springer Drive resident reported to police officers that a relative had taken her purse and wallet from her Fall River Road home. The wallet contained her Social Security income card and she reports that the relative spent the entire balance of $1,300.
