Lawrence County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stolen vehicle incident after the victim witnessed a male suspect driving away in their truck.

According to reports the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a stolen vehicle case that occurred early Monday morning on North Main Street in St. Joseph.

The victim told deputies that around 2:30 a.m. they were alerted to the theft by the sound of their truck starting, and witnessed a male suspect driving away in their vehicle.

The vehicle has been described as a white 2002 Chevy Silverado with a black bed liner that is coming loose that has a black toolbox in the back, and a dent on the driver side door.

Other distinguishing markings include a rose on the driver side window as well as two of the tires on the truck are missing the center caps.
