Fire At Lawrence County Stock Barn

Press release

At approximately 4:20 PM Friday the Lawrenceburg Fire Department responded to 10 East Beasley Road (Lawrence County Stock Barn) to a reported structure fire.

Upon arrival of the first responding units smoke and flames were visible. A quick and aggressive fire attack was made to contain the fire.

Automatic aid was received from New Prospect Fire Department along with Mutual Aid from Ethridge Fire Department for water supply. Lawrence County EMS also responded for firefighter safety.

The efforts of these agencies working together saved approximately $30,000 of live stock with only minimal damage to the structure.
