Wednesday Crime Report
Attempted burglary
Deputies responded to a Valley Road home Saturday where the resident reported an attempted burglary. She told deputies that she had left home around 7:00 p.m.. When she returned she was unable to unlock the door and discovered scratch marks on it "as if someone tried to open it." Entry was not made. She said she was able to pry the lock off of the door to enter. Damages totaled around $30.
Theft
A Lawrenceburg resident reported to deputies last week that someone had stolen his Husqvarna 46" zero turn lawnmower and trailer from a Lentz Road property. Also stolen was a homemade enclosed trailer filled with Craftsman toolboxes and tools. Altogether, loss was said to total $11,737.20.
Theft of dog
Deputies spoke with a Good Hope Road resident Saturday who reported that her dog had disappeared after she noticed a suspicious vehicle traveling back and forth along the roadway. She said she had let her bulldog, valued at $300, out to use the bathroom and he never returned.
