Prescription refilled, picked up without consent

Lawrenceburg Now

Law enforcement officers were asked to open an investigation Wednesday when a local man discovered that someone had refilled his prescription medication without his knowledge.

The victim, age 33, spoke with Lawrenceburg Police officers Wednesday morning. He reported that someone had his prescription for 120 Lortabs refilled at Walgreens Pharmacy the previous day. He said that he learned that a woman with dark hair had filled and picked up his prescription. The victim said that it was done without his permission and that he did not know who had committed the crime.

At the present time the case remains under investigation.
