ARDMORE WOMAN CHARGED IN GILES COUNTY SHOOTING

NASHVILLE – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, working alongside investigators with the Giles County Sheriff’s Department, have arrested and charged an Ardmore woman in connection to a shooting Tuesday in Giles County. At the request of 22nd District Attorney General Brent Cooper, on January 8th,

TBI Agents and Giles County deputies began investigating a shooting that occurred on Chapman Lane in Pulaski. James White (DOB 01/12/1962), a resident of the home, suffered a gunshot wound, and was taken to a Nashville hospital for treatment.

During the course of the investigation, law enforcement officers identified Brooke Wallis, an acquaintance of the victim, as the individual responsible for the shooting. On Wednesday,

TBI Agents arrested Brooke Lynne Wallis (DOB 07/19/1996) and charged her with one count of Criminal Attempt to Commit First Degree Murder, one count of Aggravated Assault, and one count of Theft of Property.

Wallis was booked into the Giles County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
