Deputies answered a call to a Baker Lane residence last week where a resident reported that his walled had been stolen out of his 2000 Chevrolet Impala. It contained his driver’s license, Social Security card, gift cards, and $70 in cash.

Theft

Officers spoke with a Geri Street resident Sunday who reported that a relative had asked to use her cell phone, then refused to give it back to her. The Galaxy J7 phone was valued at $300.

Theft

Police officers responded to Southern Office Products on Geri Street Saturday where employees reported that a white 5’x10’ cargo trailer had been stolen. They said it had been chained to a light pole in front of the business. Loss was said to be $2,000.

Burglary

Residents of an East Heights Street home reported to officers last week that they had been away on vacation. While they were away, they said two acquaintances had been tending to their dogs. When they returned, they found that their son’s Play Station 4 game system, valued at $460, was missing.

Vehicle burglary

On Friday, officers spoke with a Claymar Drive resident who reported that her prescription medications had been stolen out of her truck. The forty-five year old victim reported that she had left her truck unlocked.

Vandalism

Around $500 worth of damage was reported to a 2012 Chrysler 200 belonging to a Thomas Street resident last week. The owner said that while the car was parked in the driveway, someone had attempted to pry open the driver’s door, resulting in several dents and damage to the door seal.

Burglary

On Fifth Street in Lawrenceburg officers spoke with a resident who reported that someone had broken a lock off of her outbuilding and stole several items inside. Missing were a kerosene heater, tent, duffle bag, various camping gear, hatchet, medical kit, canteen, and a fixed blade survival knife. The items, valued altogether at $345, were said to be the property of a Huntsville, Alabama resident.
