Lawrence county artists, now is your time to shine. ,Autumn colors mirrored in a glassy, still lake; an old back yard tree stripped of its ivy vines, exposing textured character; a guiding lighthouse from atop a forbidding, craggy seaside cliff-- these and many more are subjects of paintings that have been exhibited in the annual Margeurite Rose Burton Show. Lawrence County artists, what you can imagine can be painted because you have within you the "Muse of Creativity", and who knows...you could be one of the next winners. This juried exhibit is the place to show or begin showing your talent. For additional information and to receive your entry form, stop by the Art Center (next to Crockett Theater), Lawrenceburg Glass, or call Emily Land (242-6767) or Carole Modlin (762-3980). Entry forms also can be mailed to you. But HURRY...deadline of April 25th is fast approaching when your entries are due at the Art Center.
