The Board of Mayor and Council of the City of Lawrenceburg are cancelling the Regular Meeting of the Board of Mayor and Council scheduled for October 9, 2014.
The next meeting will be the regularly scheduled meeting on October 23, 2014, at 8:30 a.m.
The Lawrenceburg Animal Shelter will hold an adoption day this Saturday from 11 until 2 at the shelter. The facility is located on Skyline Drive just off Hwy. 64 West. There are many puppies and adult dogs available for adoption.
Greenwood United Methodist Church will have a fish fry Saturday, October 4 from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. Plates will be $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Summertown High FCA will have a Pancake Breakfast,Saturday October 4th from 7:00 am - 10:00am ,Summertown Baptist Church,We are only asking a donation.,All proceeds will go to help FCA do mission projects for our community and school.,
There will be a School Board Liaison Committee Meeting Monday, October 6, 2014 at 5pm in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of the Administrative Center.

LAWRENCEBURG ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS WILL MEET TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2014 AT 8:30 A.M. IN THE COUNCIL MEETING ROOM OF THE LAWRENCEBURG MUNICIPAL COMPLEX, LOCATED AT 25 PUBLIC SQUARE.
The board will hear the request from Michael Creech concerning property at 506 Ninth Street. The request is for a variance to build an 24 X 40 foot accessory structure. The Lawrenceburg Zoning Ordinance requires ZBA approval.
