Trampoline Is Stolen, Stripped And Discarded
A local woman requested police assistance on Monday after she found that her trampoline had been stolen, stripped of parts, then abandoned in a gully.
According to reports filed through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department the victim reported that the trampoline, valued at $700, had been stolen from the yard of her Lexie Lane home.
She said that she had noticed it missing the day before and had found drag marks where someone had dragged it across her yard.
Shortly afterwards deputies were notified that the trampoline had been located in a nearby gully. Several parts were missing and it appeared that someone had cut the straps that had secured it.
