Lawrenceburg Elks Lodge #2206 Sends 71 Care Packages

Members of the Lawrenceburg Elks Lodge would like to thank the community for their generosity in donating over $2,500.00 in items and cash for care packages sent to our local National Guard unit.

With these donations along with donations from Elks members, the Lawrenceburg Elks Lodge #2206 sent 71 care packages to Tennessee Army National Guard soldiers from A Battery, 1-181st Field Artillery Battalion, based in Lawrenceburg, TN, and currently stationed in Afghanistan.

The care packages included requested personal hygiene items, snacks, magazines and a small gift.  The photograph shows members and helpers posing with the care packages. 

The items were packaged and mailed on November 25th for delivery in time for the holidays.  From left to right going clockwise are; Eddie Ogden, Joe Evans, Exalted Ruler, Randy Shook, Treasurer, Jon Evans, Beth Blasingim, Alaric Crouch, Secretary, Randy Carl, Esquire, Nichole Belt, Annette Belt, Lynn Aaron, Ed Turner, Lecturing Knight, Dawn Turner, Barbara Knapp, Sue Brown, Marlie Brown, and Wanda Shook, Leading Knight.
