Monday Crime Report

Burglary

Deputies were called to a Ratliff Road home Wednesday in response to the sounding of a burglar alarm. They report that four screens had been removed from windows and leaned against the house, and that a chair was placed beneath a broken window on the north corner. The caretaker reported nothing appeared to be missing, and that no other damages could be found. Damage was estimated at $300.

Vandalism

Deputies were summoned to a Gimlet Road property Thursday after the owner discovered someone had broken a garage window. Reports show deputies found small holes in the glass consistent with a BB or pellet gun. Damages totaled around $100.

Theft

A local resident reported Friday that someone had stolen the license plate from her 2012 Toyota Rav4. Loss is approximately $50.

Theft

A resident of South Hood Road reported to deputies Friday that his Browning Buckmark 22LR pistol had gone missing. He said that he might have lost it after target practice recently. It has an estimated value of $350.

Burglary

A deputy was called to a Beartown Road, Loretto home Sunday after the resident discovered several items had been stolen. He reported that a Glock model 19, 9mm handgun was missing along with money, collectible coins, and a pocket knife. He told deputies he had received reports of a relative crawling out of his window while he was not at home. Deputies found no evidence of forced entry. Loss totals approximately $910.

Theft

A Hohenwald resident reported to police officers that she had been shopping at a Lawrenceburg business last week when she inadvertently left her wallet in her shopping cart. She said when she went back inside to retrieve it, it was missing. She estimated loss to be $600.
