Tools Stolen From House Undergoing Remodeling
Detectives with the Lawrenceburg Police Department have been asked to investigate an incident during which tools were stolen out of a house that was being remodeled.
The incident reportedly occurred overnight Tuesday at a home on Spout Springs Road. The victim reported that he and his son had been remodeling the house for the owner.
He said that when they finished for the day Tuesday, leaving at around 5:00 p.m., they left their work tools inside. He told officers that they returned at about 8:30 Wednesday morning to discover that the tools had been stolen.
The victim reported seeing a person in a white Ford truck acting in a suspicious manner in the days prior to the crime.
Investigation into the crime is presently on-going through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
