Law enforcement officials have made an arrest as a result of an investigation into three recent burglaries at Lawrenceburg pharmacies.

According to a press release issued through the Lawrenceburg Police Department Monday, Jeffery Allen Judkins, age 40, of Lawrenceburg was arrested October 24 on one count each of burglary, theft over $1,000, and vandalism.

The charges were issued in connection with a burglary that occurred on October 20, 2013 at Liberty Drug Store on North Locust Avenue.

Detectives report that during the arrest process they recovered a large amount of prescription medications that had been stolen during the burglary.

Judkins was transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center where he was incarcerated under a bond of $75,000. He was scheduled an initial appearance in general sessions court on November 7, 2013.

Detectives report that evidence in the case will be presented during the next session of the Lawrence County Grand Jury.

At that time they will seek charges in connection with the August 25 and September 12 burglaries committed at Holland’s Pharmacy, 1333 South Locust Avenue.
