LHS SGA To Host Community Trunk Or Treat|
Loretto High School’s Student Government Association has planned a Community Trunk or Treat event in the hopes of providing a safe environment for trick-or-treaters and collecting donations for local charities.
SGA is inviting individuals to decorate their trunks and set up in the school parking lot to hand out treats to youngsters. There is no fee for set up. They request that trunk participants be set up by 5:00 p.m. October 31st.
Trunk decorations must include a drug-free slogan as part of the annual Red Ribbon Week observance. Those interested may reserve a spot by calling 853-4324 or 853-4325. A $100 prize will be awarded for best decorated trunk.
Trick-or-treaters are invited to participate in the event. Admission is a donation of $1 or one can of food. Donations will go to support the local food pantry and Angel Tree project.
The event will run from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. October 31st. SGA will provide games for kids, as well.
