Wednesday Search Results In Arrests, Seizure Of Meth Lab

The execution of a search warrant at a Summertown home Wednesday resulted in arrests of three individuals and the seizure of remnants of a meth lab.

A press release issued through the Lawrenceburg Police Department Thursday afternoon indicates the search was conducted at the 519 Henryville Road home of Thomas Andrew Bailey, age 31.

Agents report that they found remnants of a lab used to manufacture methamphetamine, along with chemical compounds associated with meth manufacturing. The contraband, they report, was found to belong to Bailey.

A site cleanup was undertaken at that time. During that process, agents report they stopped a vehicle and confronted the individuals inside who were, “Attempting to come to the residence with the intent to deliver a box of pseudoephedrine pills for Bailey to convert to methamphetamine.”

As a result of the operation Bailey was incarcerated at the Lawrence County Detention Center on charges that include promotion of the manufacture of meth and initiation of the process to manufacture meth. He was held in lieu of a bond of $100,000.

Vehicle passenger David Wayne Tucker, 31, of Mt. Pleasant, was jailed under charges of promotion of the manufacture of meth and simple possession of a Schedule IV narcotic.

He was jailed without bond due to the fact that he had an outstanding warrant charging him with violating the conditions of his probation agreement.

A third individual, passenger Jodie Lynn Hinson, 30, of Lawrenceburg, was arrested on charges of promotion of the manufacture of meth, simple possession of a Schedule VI drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was incarcerated under a bond of $27,000.

Bailey, Tucker, and Hinson are scheduled to answer the charges against them in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on November 7, 2013.
