Driver Arrested For Habitually Driving While License Suspended

A Lawrenceburg man was arrested late last week after officers found that he was habitually driving while his license was suspended.

David Franklin Pike, 32, of Seventh Street, was arrested on a charge of driving on a suspended driver license Friday evening.

Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department report a traffic stop was conducted when they found that Pike’s vehicle had no working taillights. He was unable to provide a valid driver license, telling officers that it had been suspended.

Officers report that Pike’s driving history revealed he had been convicted three times in the past for the same offense. In addition, they noted that he has three cases pending, two in Circuit Court and one in General Sessions Court, for the same offense.

Pike was transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center where he was incarcerated without incident.
