Florence Alabama Police Department release official statement regarding false reports on social media of shots being fired at Wal-Mart.

 

The Florence Alabama Police Department released the following statement on Sunday regarding false claims of shots being fired at Wal-Mart:

"The Florence Police Department has received calls and has been made aware of several social media posts that are making false reports of shots being fired at Wal Mart on Hough Rd.

Florence Police Officers did respond to a disturbance call at Wal Mart however, no shots were fired at any time and no one was injured.
