Indictments Sought Against Woman Accused Of Fraudulently Using Stolen Bank Card

Police officials indicate that charges are being sought against a Lawrenceburg woman, accused of repeatedly using a stolen bank card.

On August 20, 2013 the victim, age 23, reported to officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department that while at a local business his wallet had been stolen from inside his vehicle.

Department detectives report that during the investigation they determined that the card had been used illegally on seven different occasions before it was deactivated.

Detectives report that the card was used at the local McDonald’s restaurant, Taco Bell, Texaco, and Handy Andy Market.

They were able to review security surveillance video, allowing them to identify the suspect as Tamara Lea Reedy, 26, of 508 Second Street.

Reports show that investigators conducted an interview with Reedy during which she confessed to the crimes. They plan to present evidence in the case to the Lawrence County Grand Jury, seeking indictments against her on seven counts of fraudulent use of a debit/credit card.
