Friday Crime Report

Vandalism

   A resident of Valley Road reported to deputies Wednesday that someone had vandalized his mailbox overnight. The incident occurred sometime between 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday. Damages were estimated to total $25.

Theft

   Deputies were sent to a Highway 43 South, Leoma home where the resident, age 72, reported a theft. He reported that his 22 foot car hauler trailer, black in color, had been stolen from his daughter’s back yard. He said that it had been parked there for the past few months. No witnesses were found. Loss was approximately $4,000.

Car burglary

   A Lawrenceburg woman reported to police officers Wednesday that someone had burglarized her car while it was parked in the parking lot at Walmart, 2130 North Locust Avenue. A cell phone, radio, laptop computer and around 45 compact discs were stolen for a loss of $477.
