Tuesday Crime Report

Theft

   A Lawrenceburg woman reported to police officers that someone had stolen her cell phone while she was at the American Legion building on East Gaines Street Wednesday night. She said that the black iPhone with pink and black otter box was taken from her table. It is valued at $745.

Aggravated burglary

   Deputies were called to a home on Whispering Oaks Street in Summertown Friday. The resident reported someone had burglarized her home on two separate occasions recently. She told deputies that most recently a single ring had been stolen from her jewelry box. In weeks prior, she said numerous other items of jewelry were stolen. She estimated her loss to total $3,400.

   Burglary

   Deputies were called to a home on Center Point Drive in Summertown Saturday morning where the resident reported someone had stolen three tote bags of items. The victim said that she had been in the process of moving and had already moved most of her belongings. The back door to the residence was kicked open. Loss and damages totaled $450.

Burglary

   On Saturday a Summerton man reported someone had burglarized his shop on Lantz Road. When he came to bush hog he said he found that the front door had been pushed in. Missing were a drill press, welder, metal door, aluminum camper shell and numerous aluminum rims. The victim’s loss is estimated to be $3,125.

Recovered property

   Officers were dispatched to a Brannon Street home Saturday afternoon after a resident found a push mower had been left in her back yard. She told deputies she did not know who owned the mower. Neighborhood children reported seeing two men leave the mower in the yard two or three days prior.

Theft

   On Sunday officers were called to an apartment on Oak Street where the resident reported the front wheel had been stolen off his bicycle. Loss was said to total $100.

Theft

   A black, fourteen-foot utility trailer was stolen from a Highway 43 South, Loretto home during the weekend. The victim said Sunday that the trailer had been parked beside her home and that the culprit emptied several bags of garbage off the trailer before taking it. The trailer was valued at $500.
