With the lead changing four times between two drivers … what a race these guys put on! Kelly Gutches led lap one, Matthew Brocato led laps two, three and four; Gutches led laps five, six and seven; but it would be Brocato eight thru fifteen to pick up his second feature win of the season at Tennessee National.

What a Shootout race this one was …. Craig Pedrick led from the drop of the green thru lap seven, then contact between Pedrick and Smith at the end of the front stretch resulted in Pedrick spinning in turn two, drawing the caution? After Pedrick came around the track and made contact with Smith under caution he was ask to leave the track instead of taking up the rear. When he did decide to leave the track, he went into turn four and made contact again with Smith; at this point, Pedrick was disqualified from the race. On the restart, Paul Teachout was sitting in the right spot, leading laps eight thru twenty-five for his first feature win at TNR.
