Tennessee Beef Alliance Farm Tours September 4th
UT Extension in Giles/Lawrence/Maury Counties have teamed up to offer producers a chance to learn more about the opportunities available through the Tennessee Beef Alliance.
The farms below have agreed to welcome visitors to come see their operations and learn more about the advantages of advanced marketing and adding value to feeder calves sold through the Tennessee Beef Alliance Group.
Tour Stop 1 9am. Larry Church Farm , 4077 Rippey Lake Road. Mt. Pleasant, TN.
Tour Stop 2 11 am. Carter & George Witt Farm, 1070 Yokley Road, Lynnville, TN
Lunch Stop 12:30 pm. Richland Trace Market, 19326 Hwy. 64, Pulaski, TN.
Tour Stop 3 2:30 pm. Five Oaks Cattle Farm, Jerry, Marty & Wes Gambel, 901 Lexington Hwy. Loretto, TN.
Participants may attend any or all of the tour stops and travel will be on your own. If you plan to eat lunch at Richland Trace Market please contact the Giles County Extension Office at 363-3523 to register.
The cost of the meal will be $5.99 plus your drink.
