In an effort to provide citizens with quality of life services that hopefully will help to grow more business for the community, leaders in Iron City have re established the City’s police department.

The community, City leaders, local police force and the Chamber of Commerce attended the celebration ceremony held Friday morning in Iron City.

“We have the desire to grow more business for Iron City and hope reestablishing the police department will help in that effort,” says Anthony Purser, Iron
City Mayor.

Chad Chancellor, Chamber Chief Executive Officer said, “We commend Iron City on taking progressive steps and we look forward to new business opportunities for them in the future as we continue to serve all of Lawrence County.”
