Tuesday Crime Report
Aggravated burglary
A resident of 2853 Waynesboro Highway reported to deputies Monday that someone had burglarized her home. Two window air conditioning units and a fish aquarium, with an estimated combined value of $1,150, were reported stolen. A relative reported seeing someone at the residence two or three days prior.
Vandalism
Deputies were called to 19 Ridge Lane Monday morning when a resident discovered a window had been broken on her 2008 Pontiac GS. The victim, age 79, reported she had gone to her car and found glass laying beside it, then noticed the rear driver side window was broken. Her son reported hearing dogs barking shortly after midnight, but said that they calmed down quickly. Damages were estimated at $260.
