Awards For LCHS Shooting Team

The LCHS Shooting Team held their 2014 Awards banquet, August 23, at the Eagle Eye Shooting Complex. 

The Varsity team was recognized for their 4th place finish in the state tournament and the Jr. Varsity for a 6th place finish. 

The MVP awards were voted on by all of the team’s shooters and Jr. Varsity was won by Jacob Bradley while Varsity MVP went to Bobby Benson.  Benson was also recognized for his 7th place overall individual score in this year’s state tournament. 

The Most Improved Jr. Varsity award went to Brown Boyd and Varsity Most Improved was Jackson Woods. 

The coaches pick award of Top Gun was given to two student athletes this year, Ben Threet and Austin Moore. 

Threet and Moore were also acknowledged as the first two student athletes to participate on the shooting team for all four years of school. 

This years coaching staff was Head Coach, Greg Holt, Assistants, Corey Cowheard, Shane Eaton, and Shawn Walters.
