Animal Welfare League Hosting An Adoption And Fundraising Event
The Lawrence County Animal Welfare League will be hosting an adoption and fundraising event in conjunction with Lawrenceburg Walgreens and Van Vickle Insurance agent Andrea Bryant.
The event will be held on August 31st at the Lawrenceburg Walgreens from 10am until 2pm and will include many animals ready for adoption, the Lawrenceburg Fire Department, professional pet photography, free dog nail clipping, pet apparel, and baked goods.
Dogs for Vets, an organization who trains service dogs for disabled veterans will be on hand with information about their amazing program as well.
All proceeds will go directly to Shoal Creek Animal Hospital to fund veterinary services for dogs like the starving and heartworm positive Boxer to the right who is currently part of an animal cruelty investigation with the Sheriff's Department and the Bulldog mix also pictured in her before and after pound picture who was very ill and pulled just before her euthanasia date.
