Woman Injured In Fall From Convertible

A Lawrenceburg woman sustained injuries Sunday when she fell from a convertible on the way to a swimming hole.

The victim, age 23, reported to a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputy that the fall had occurred around 2:30 p.m. along Cherry Hill Road in Leoma.

She indicated she had been riding in the convertible car with three friends when she and another woman “got up to sit on the back of the car to ride to the swimming hole.” She was thrown, she said, when the driver “slammed on the brakes.”

The report was filed after the victim was taken to the emergency room at Crockett Hospital. She told deputies one of the friends had advised her to tell hospital personnel she had sustained the injuries in a four wheeler accident.
