Resident Reports Bird Missing From Porch
A Second Avenue resident filed a complaint with law enforcement officials Tuesday, saying that one of his birds went missing from his front porch.
The victim, age 37, reported he had two Cockatiels inside a cage on his front porch Tuesday morning. He told Lawrenceburg Police Officers he went inside his residence for a time. When he returned around 11:00 a.m., he reports the cage door was standing open and one of the birds missing.
The victim told officers there was no way the bird could have escaped on his own. In addition, he reported the cage had been moved.
The grey, white and yellow Cockatiel is valued at $80. Investigation into the matter is currently on-going.
