Christopher Lane Resident Attacked By Dogs
A resident of Christopher Lane sustained injuries Monday when she was attacked by dogs at her home.
The victim, age 49, reported to Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies that she had just arrived home when the attack occurred. She said she was attacked by a brown and white Border Collie and a brindle Boxer or Bulldog. She told deputies she had no idea who owned the dogs.
Deputies noted the victim sustained multiple bite wounds and scratches. She expressed her intent to seek medical attention.
Investigation into the matter has been turned over to detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
