Thieves Target Summertown Home For Second Time In A Month
A resident of an Old Military Road home in Summertown reported Thursday that thieves had targeted his home for the second time in a month.
The victim, age 18, told deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department that a go cart had gone missing from beside his house about one month prior. He said he returned to his home
Thursday to find that someone had entered his home and stole an Xbox game system from his room. Also missing was a GSX 600cc motorcycle, box of Stanley tools, tire tool set, and a wire cutter set from his shop, situated at the rear of the home.
Reports show that that no sign of forced entry was found. Loss was estimated to be in excess of $700.
