Lawrenceburg Man Nabbed In Burglary Spree

Lawrenceburg Police Chief Judy Moore reported Friday that an arrest had been made in connection with a recent rash of burglaries and thefts that had plagued residents in the Hayes Road/Alex Drive area.

Moore reported that officers with her department had been called upon to investigate several burglaries in the area. Information gathered led them to conduct a search at 633 Fall River Road. During the search, Moore reports a large portion of the stolen belongings was recovered.

As a result of the investigation Travis Clay Phillips, 19, of Lawrenceburg, was arrested on charges that include burglary, theft over $60,000 and vandalism. He was booked through the Lawrence County Detention Center where he was held under a bond of $82,000.

Moore reports that investigation into the matter is continuing and that they expect to make at least two more arrests and recovery additional property.
