A Tennessee assistant police chief mistook his neighbor's garage for his own when he ordered the female neighbor to exit out of her own garage at gunpoint.

 

 

According to the Knox County District Attorney's Office assistant police chief, Keith Lambert, at the University of Tennessee was placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation involving an incident that occurred on July 24th where the officer mistook his neighbor’s garage for his own where he pulled a gun on the female neighbor.

The report indicates Lambert ordered the female neighbor out of her own garage at gunpoint, and didn't realize the mistake until the victim's husband came out of the house since he had just purchased the property a few days before the incident.

The District Attorney's Office stated that they will not prosecute Lambert.
