Brown Names Crouch And Brewer To Fill Key Positions

Lawrence County Sheriff-elect Jimmy Brown has announced that he has selected two individuals to fill key positions in his administration.

Brown made the announcement on Wednesday, indicating that he has selected Tony Crouch to serve as his Chief Deputy and Adam Brewer to serve as Captain. Brown feels that their many years of experience in law enforcement will make them invaluable assets to his administration.

A long-time police officer, Brewer currently serves as the Chief of Police for the City of St. Joseph.

Crouch served in law enforcement while serving in the armed forces directly after high school, later opting to continue in that field. He served as Chief Deputy for twelve years under former Sheriff William Dorning’s administration, and has served as Training Officer under current sheriff Kenny Taylor.

Along with the other elected county officials, Brown will take office on September 1, 2010.
