The Lawrenceburg police department arrested a local man for public intoxication after he got his lawnmower stuck on a railroad track.

 

The Lawrenceburg police department was dispatched on Monday to assist a man who had gotten his lawnmower stuck on the railroad track on Helton.

The arriving officer reported after locating the man who needed assistance that he detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from him, and that the man was also very unsteady on his feet.

The officer then proceeded to conduct the standardized field sobriety test on the man in which he failed every part of the test.

The man was arrested on charges of public intoxication where he was transported to the Lawrence County jail.
