Dollar General Construction Site Burglarized
Construction personnel returned to the building site of a Dollar General Store Monday to find the structure had been burglarized.
Larry Dwite Pullen reported everything was in placed when crews left on Friday. When he returned Monday morning, he found that a 12,000 watt Honda generator had been stolen.
Pullen reported the generator had been stored inside a storage room on the north end of the building. He told Lawrenceburg Police Officers that the generator was heavy and it would have required two persons to load.
Nothing else appeared to be missing from the site. Officers report finding no sign of forced entry. Total loss is estimated to be $3,000.
