Booth Space Available for Annual “An Art Affair” Event

   Local artists are invited to participate in MainStreet Lawrenceburg’s Fifth Annual “An Art Affair” event, scheduled for Saturday, September 15.

   Booth space is still available for the event, which raises funds to promote MainStreet Lawrenceburg as well as fine arts in the community.

   The event will feature music, children’s activities, demonstrations and tours of the Old Jail Museum, James D. Vaughan Museum, and the Marguerite Rose Burton Art Center.

   Artists will be allowed to set up twelve-by-twelve foot booths around the pavilion on the Lawrenceburg Public Square. Merchandise sold is limited to original work created by the artist. No mass produced crafts, crafts from kits, or commercial items are allowed. Also, limited edition prints are permitted only if signed and numbered by the artist.    

   The fee for booth space is $25. Applications and fees must be submitted by Wednesday, August 15. For additional information contact MainStreet Director Jayne Shaw at 629-1216.
