Independence Day Fireworks Show Rescheduled For August 31
Lawrenceburg officials announced Thursday that the city’s annual Independence Day fireworks show has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2013.
For the past several years the City of Lawrenceburg has hosted a professional fireworks show on or about July 4 for the entertainment of area residents. This year’s show, however, had to be canceled due to inclement weather.
During a meeting of the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council Thursday morning, City Administrator Chris Shaffer announced that the event has been rescheduled for August 31.
The show will be held at Hendrix-Staggs Stadium at Lawrence County High School, located at 1500 Springer Road. It is scheduled to begin around 9:00 p.m.
