Stolen Items Recovered And Returned To Owners

   Two property owners who reported items missing in recent days were fortunate enough to have their items recovered this week.

   A resident of Jackson Street reported that her Poland self-propelled push mower had been stolen last week. On Monday a neighbor summoned Lawrenceburg Police Officers to report that he had found the mower abandoned behind his Hicks Street outbuilding.

   While on patrol along Thomas Street, one officer reports he was flagged down by an individual who had found a wallet lying on the roadway. Identifying paperwork inside the wallet allowed officers to determine that the owner had reported the wallet as stolen. Officers indicate that all of the contents, except for the cash, were accounted for.

   Both the wallet and mower were returned to the owners.
