Thieves Target ATVs

   At least two all terrain vehicles were targeted by thieves over the weekend.

   A resident of Rascal Town Road reported one such theft through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department on Sunday. He indicated that his 2006 Honda TRX four wheeler had been stolen from beside an outbuilding at his home.

   A resident of Loretto reported to deputies Friday that someone had come onto his Peppertown Road property to steal his 2007 Yamaha Grizzley. The ATV, he reported, had been parked on the back porch of his home.
