US Air Force Band Of Mid America Coming To Historic Crockett Theater

The Lawrenceburg Parks and Recreation Department and the Crockett Theater Board is very pleased to be presenting the US Air Force Band of Mid-America “Freedom Winds” at the Historical Crockett Theater on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 7:00pm.
The Freedom Winds Woodwind Quintet is tailored to deliver a world class, professional musical product to local communities.
This dynamic performing ensemble’s library includes works from renaissance to contemporary styles, popular marches, and patriotic crowd pleasers.
The Freedom Winds Woodwind Quintet is called on to provide music for small military retirements, changes of command, holiday caroling for military and civilian employees, and other official military functions.
The group also reaches out to America’s young music students, offering concerts, clinics and masterclasses in wind chamber repertoire and instrumental technique.
These performances allow students a unique opportunity to see a professional music group up close and talk to members about music and the United States Air Force.
The Air Force Band of Mid-America’s Freedom Winds Woodwind Quintet delivers a versatile, unique musical product in any performing environment. This talented ensemble reflects the values and excellence found every day throughout the United States Air Force.
