Tommy Lee, Lesa, and Abigail Kidd gave a presentation for Abigail's Plan.  Mayor Turner, Alderman McMasters, and Alderman Methvin presented them with a donation of $2,500 on behalf of the City of Loretto.

Aldermen McMasters gave an update on the Recreational Master Plan. Short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals are being developed by the steering committee. These will be presented within a few weeks at a public meeting for comment.

A resolution to increase the city’s matching share of recreational grant to $250,000.00. Was approved. Grant will be $250,000.00. Total project funding $500,000.00

2nd reading of ordinance # 06034 to increase court cost by $15.00 to 118.00 per ticket was approved.

A Resolution to apply for a TML Pool Safety Grant for bodyarmour vest for 4 police officers was approved. 

Approval was given to sell surplus property on Gov Deals.

It was announced that a planning commission meeting will be held on Monday, August 11 at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall for consideration of approval of a site plan.
